Dragon père de Luffy, j'y avais même pas pensé. Faut dire que je m'étais jamais vraiment posé la question en fait. Et maintenant on peut aussi se poser des questions sur les liens de parentés entre Luffy et Ace, vu que Ace a un nom différent. Je vois pas pourquoi il aurait changé de nom alors que Luffy ne l'a pas fait. Donc soit demi-frère, soit Dragon a confié Luffy à la famille de Ace quand il était bébé.

Luffy: "........!!"
Nami: "Garp's name... he's the Hero of the Marines!"
Sanji: "Luffy! Is he really your grandpa!?"
Luffy: "Yeah! Whatever you do, don't attack him!! You'll be killed.......!!! A long time ago, I was almost killed by grandpa many times."
Garp: "Hey hey, don't put it that way. The reason I threw you down that cliff, the reason why I attached you to a baloon and sent you flying to some sky, the reason why I sent you to the dense forests in the night... they were all for the sake of making you into a strong man!!!"

Sanji: ".......I think... I now understand the reason for Luffy's strength and dextirity now...!!"
Garp: "In the end I gave you and Ace up to a friend of mine for you two to train, but once my eyes left you, this happens... I trained you so one day you would be a strong marine!!!"
Luffy: "I told you, I always wanted to be a Pirate!!!"

Usopp: "So Luffy's grandpa was a Marine of the HQ!! Some interesting stuff is going on."

Garp: "Besides, don't you know what kind of pirate the Redhair is!? You!!"
Luffy: "...!? Shanks!? Is Shanks and everyone all right!? Where are they!?"
Garp: "All right, you ask..."

Garp: "Among the countless number of pirates, he is among the Four Great Pirates who stands equal to Whitebeard. We call them, the ones who hold reign over the second half of Grandline as if they were Emperors themselves the "Four Emperors"!!!

Garp: "In order to hold those four in check, the Marine HQ and the Ouka Shichibukai stands together! When the Three Powers loses their balance the peace of the world is directly threatened. They hold that much power.

Luffy: "I don't quite understand, but as long as he's okay. Ahh, brings back memories..."

Robin: "He holds a connection to that Redhair...!?"
Luffy: "I had no idea the person he's borrowing the strawhat from was someone so famous..."

Townspeople: "T... this way, Zoro-san."
Zoro: "Dammit, the Marines are already here!!"

Zoro arrives.

Garp: "Hm? What's the matter!!!"
???: "He must be the Bounty Zoro the Pirate Hunter."
Garp: "Ah, Luffy's friends. How energetic. Well then... you two, try to stop them...!!"

Two: "Yes sir!!"

One of them pounces
(blades clash)
Zoro: "Kukuri knives, you have something interesting."
??: "Hiya! Hai! Hai! (Zoro blocks attacks)"
Luffy: "Hey!! Zoro, wait!!! No need to fight!"

At the same time the kick of the other one hits him.

Luffy: "Ack!!? Dammit, you, what do you think you're doing!!"
??: "Soru." (dodges Luffy's attack)
Luffy: "...this technique..."
Luffy captures the man who attacks from behind. Zoro also has won against his attacker.

Garp: "Bwahahahaha! You stood no chance!"

??: "You sure are strong... so great!! I admit my defeat... Luffy-san, Zoro-san, long time no see. Do you remember who I am?"
Luffy: "? Who are you?"

Coby: "It's me!! Coby!! Don't you remember!?"

Garp: "Well then... everyone, fix the walls."
Everyone: "Wha--------!!? That's so selfish of you. If we were going to fix it then why did you destroy it in the first place!!?"
Garp: "Well, it's more cool if you enter that way!!"
Everyone: "Don't destroy walls for that kind of reason. Well okay, we'll fix it, but you must help us too, okay!!?"

Garp and the Marines start to fix the wall.

Sanji: "Isn't your grandpa supposed to be someone important?"
Luffy: "Dunno, I don't know much about his work."

Garp: "That reminds me, Luffy, I heard you met your pops."
Luffy: "Eh? Pops? I had a father?"
Garp: "Sheesh, so he didn't even bother telling you his name... he told me he saw you off at Louge Town! Your father's name is Monkey D. Dragon. A revolutionist."

Everyone: "Ehhh~~~~~~~~~~!?"

Everyone: "T... that revolutionist Dragon had a son!!?"
Coby: "Luffy-san is that Dragon's child!!?"
Hellmeppo: "Then...!! Dragon is Vice Admiral Garp's child!!? What the hell is wrong with this family!!!"

Luffy: "Hey, what's wrong everyone?"
Sanji: "Idiot!! You don't know the name Dragon!!?"
Nami: "You father!! He's a very famous man!!"
Ussop is surprised.

Robin: "Pirates... there are none who try to ever try to mount an assult directly against the government and the Marines, but there is a power that moves to seek the destruction of the "World Government". The man who stands at the top of the revolutionary army... that's Dragon.

Robin: "Now, his ideals have spread into many different nations, and he is initiating revolutions in many kingdoms and already many countries have fallen. The government has been of course angered by his actions... and they have labeled Dragon as the world's worst Criminal and have been searching for him ever since. He's a man who's true identity has remained blanketed in mystery... but."
Luffy: "But??"

Garp: "Ah!! I guess saying that kind of stuff was bad!! Bwahahahahaha! Forget what I said."

Everyone: "Ehhh~~~~~~~~~~!?"

ce chapitre est pour moi l'un des meilleurs avec le chapitre où on voit Mihawk, Dorafumingo, Kuma, Sengoku et compagnie dan le tome 25 !!

Le chap a l'air super drôle en plus

Je pense aussi que c'est l'un des meilleurs chapitres de One Piece depuis le début, c'est énormissime tout ce qui passe dans ce chapitre. Sinon c'est très étrange que Garp n'ait pas été viré de la marine: son fils est l'homme le plus dangereux pour le gouvernement, et ses petits-fils sont des pirates. En plus il est toujours en contact avec Dragon...bon je doute que le gouvernement soit au courant de ça par contre.

Tu sais Tashigi ne semble pas avoir un grand niveau de combat :/

Leur grade n'est pas spécialement abusé. C'est surtout le Soru qui l'est >__< Luffy a un peu peiné pour l'apprendre, et voila que le gosse sorti du 2e chapitre le connait aussi ... en meme temps que Luffy justement .. ca fait un peu trop gros.

Mais c'est pas spécialement improbable.

Vu l'entraienement qu'a fais suivre Garp a Luffy, et vu comment Koby et Hermep ont bossé dure ca ne m'etonne pas du tout qu'ils aient acquis ce niveau, je trouve plutot ca naturel. C'est meme le contraire qui m'aurait etonné.

En ce qui concerne le soru, Luffy a appris cette technique rien qu'en regardant les CP9 l'utiliser quelques fois, par contre Koby on a du la lui enseigner, donc c'est la maitrise de Luffy qui me semble contestable

Luffy est un génie du combat, ça ne m'étonne vraiment pas qu'il ait pu assimiler une 'astuce' de la sorte.

Par contre pour Coby et Hermep, à mon avis ce qui gêne le plus, c'est d'avoir une telle évolution. Des mecs aussi faibles que Ussop qui devienne si forts, c'est vraiment énorme.

J'éspère qu'Ussop suivra un stage super intensif, et qu'il devienne puissant. Ca serait une belle porte de sortie pour Ussop qui ne peut plus faire de tête à tête contre un adversaire depuis Alabasta, et encore.

C'est clair que ça fait partie des chapitres les plus déments depuis le début et ça fait plaisir d'avoir des révelations, maintenant va falloir attendre la fin du prochain arc.

100% d'accord avec toi,
en plus les mini aventures montrent comment ils ont travaillés dur avec Garp et son sourire démonqiue

Et ça a duré très longtemps,
donc bon tant mieux si ça paie autant,

Luffy,
ouais les histoires de niveaux,
rien qu'en matant des combats,
j'ai toujours pas accroché,

Sinon,
je trouve pas véritablement que c'est un génie du combat,
pour moi c'est plus un mec original qui teste n'importe quoi au feeling,
avec sa baka attitude et une imagination débordante,
il teste et si ça marche il garde,
toutes ses attaques c'est des trucs qu'il a imaginé et qu'il essaie de reproduire,
c'est pas exactement du génie,
je dirais plus que c'est un artiste, il invente et crée dans ce sens là,
mais il n'invente rien avec un génie réfléchi qui évalue avec plein de paramètres etc..
(Pas comme un kakashi quoi ...)
